Assessor Offers New “Will Call” Service for Vehicle Registration Renewals
(Boise, ID) – The Motor Vehicles Division of the Ada County Assessor’s Office now offers a new “Will Call” window for pick up of vehicle registration renewals! This service is being offered at the new Motor Vehicles office located at 400 N. Benjamin Lane, Suite 102, during normal business hours of Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
When it’s time for residents to renew their vehicle registration, they can now renew over the phone and pick up their registration card and stickers the same day without waiting in line.
“We’re offering this new service to residents as a time-saving effort,” said Ada County Assessor Bob McQuade. “We’re always looking for ways to be more efficient and reduce wait times. With all Motor Vehicles calls now being handled at the Benjamin Lane facility, call center staff are available to handle these calls.”
Residents who wish to use the “Will Call” service can do so by first calling the Motor Vehicles office at 577-3135, to pay their renewal fees over the phone using a credit or debit card. The Motor Vehicles staff will ask if they wish to have their stickers and registration card mailed or placed in Will Call. The next step will be to pick up the registration card and stickers at the Motor Vehicles office located on Benjamin Lane in Boise. Will Call registrations are available for pick up from either the greeter in the lobby, or in Will Call at window #10. Any registrations placed in Will Call that are not picked up within 24 hours will be mailed.
