(Media Outlets: The following announcement is intended to help notify Ada County residents of proposed development applications that will soon appear before the Planning and Zoning Commission or the Ada County Board of Commissioners. We appreciate any help you can provide in notifying your audience of these projects and public hearing dates.)
The Ada County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on April 11, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Main Hearing Room #1235, on the first floor, 200 W. Front Street, Boise, ID to consider: 201101232 ZOA ADA COUNTY: Renewable Energy Amendment to add a definition of a Fall Zone. Add two figures for examples of a fall zone and setbacks for freestanding wind facilities. Amend Specific Use Standards amending the parking requirement for sub transmission lines, raise the DBA for freestanding wind facilities, clarify the DBA for rooftop wind facilities, clarify measurement of the DBA and require documentation of noise levels expected to be generated and how they will meet the maximums allowed.
