THANK YOU ADA COUNTY VOTERS
I wish to thank the voters of Ada County for their continued support. I have been your Coroner for the past 26 years and look forward to another four years. This office has experienced continual growth through the years. We are currently challenged with the economic situation and recognize we will face even greater obstacles to come. I’m confident that we can continue to provide the highest level of service to the residents of Ada County.
Following discussion with the staff, we have come-up with areas to explore that we feel will improve this office. Staff involvement is vital in order to make these improvements. I believe staff is the heart beat of this office.
Over the next four years we will work in following areas:
1. Improve continuing educational programs for staff and require all investigators to be certified within three years of employment with the American Board of Death Investigation.
2. Improve the use of the Ada County Coroner webpage.
3. Improve current cooperative programs with the universities that will benefit both the county and education.
4. Improve the efficiency of the Ada County Coroner’s office.
5. Create a long term plan for better use of the coroner building.
6. Create educational programs that would be available to the public.
7. Create an anthropology lab area within the office to handle future requests in a more efficient manner.
