Filing a Claim
If you want to file a Small Claims action and the dollar amount, value of the property
or combined total (if you are seeking a dollar amount and propery) in your claim is
$5000 or less use the following forms. When filing a small claims action you must have the original plus two copies of the Summons, Claim and Answer

**If the Defendant resides or works in Ada County, you can use the marshal's office to serve your claim for an additional $25 per Defendant.
The marshal's office serves process Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 3pm.
