Conditions of Approval

(Ada County Plats ONLY – By Ada County Planning Staff)

At the time a final plat within the jurisdiction of Ada County is submitted to the County Surveyor for review, one copy of the plat is given to the staff Planner of Record for their information.

If that Staff person is no longer here, we will request the name of the Planner that will be assigned to the project from the Planning & Zoning Administrator.  This does not take place until the formal submission by the Developer to the Planning & Zoning staff.

The final plat submittal to the County Surveyor does not take the place of the material that is required to be submitted to the Planning staff by the Developer.  It simply ensures that the information that we review is the same as what was presented to the planning staff for their review.  We do request that the submittal to the Planning staff is not included with the submittal to the County Surveyor.

Issues regarding closures, lot areas and easements are made available to the Planners for their use and review, but the County Surveyor does not determine whether the P&Z Conditions of Approval have been complied with.  Changes required by the Planning Staff must be re-submitted to the County Surveyor for additional review.
