Ownership Report
(By Ada County Surveyor)
At the time the final plat is submitted to the County Surveyor for review, one copy of the plat, (which is required with all submittals) is sent to the Assessors office for a review of the deeds and ownership, to verify that all of the owner names required are present in the Certificate of Owners.
We then include those comments in the Initial Plat Review, or note them for further review by the County Surveyor.
Occasionally the Initial plat review will be completed prior to getting the Ownership Report back from the Assessors office. In most cases, comments regarding ownership will then be dealt with directly by the County Surveyor or Assistant County Surveyor.
Review
· Has the Ownership been checked by the Assessors office?
· Have their comments been noted or included in the Initial Plat Review, for further review by the County Surveyor?
