This 8.5"x11" two-sided brochure gives a brief overview of the history of the Table Rock/Castle Rock area.  Created May, 2006.

Historic Star Walking Tour

This 11"x17" black & white two-sided brochure highlights Star's role in the early development of Ada County. The one and two-thirds mile tour spans several decades of Star's evolution as a hub of rural activity.  Created in 2001.

A Walking Tour of Kuna's History

This 8.5"x14" black & white two-sided brochure highlights some of the historically and culturally significant properties in Kuna in a short walking tour.  Created August, 2004.

This 8.5" x 11" map highlights several sites of interest along the Western Heritage Historic Byway south of Kuna, Idaho. The majority of sites are within the scenic Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area.   Map created August, 2004.

History of Ustick Townsite

Ustick: A Community on the Brink of Place

An overview of thehistory of the trolley suburb & farming hamlet of Ustick, Idaho.  Located on Ustick Road between Five Mile Road and Cloverdale Road, Ustick Townsite was platted in 1907 and prospered due to its proximity to the Boise Valley Railway trolley system.  The townsite included Ustick School, a merchantile, a bank and a creamery, all of which are still in existence today.  The area teemed with apple orchards and at one time supported three vinegar plants. This presentation by Ted Vanegas is derived from his graduate project at BSU and includes thoughts about the future of this neighborhood.

The Council's first-ever preservation plan.  Included is a 20+ page timeline of significant local and national events in Ada County's history, an overview of the Council's past historic resource surveys, their past educational efforts, an analysis of applicable historic preservation law, and more.
