County Seeking Waterways Advisory Committee Volunteer
(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners is looking for an individual interested in volunteering their time to serve on Ada County’s Waterways Advisory Committee. This is a volunteer position which carries a term of three (3) years. Volunteers appointed to this committee must live in Ada County during their entire term.
The seven (7) member Waterways Advisory Committee typically meets at 3:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of February, March, July and October, and serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Commissioners. The Committee helps provide direction on issues relating to waterway maintenance and improvement.
Individuals interested in serving on this board are asked to complete a volunteer board application, available at the Ada County Commissioners Office or on the Web. The Commissioners Office is located on the third floor of the Ada County Courthouse at 200 W. Front Street, Boise, 83702.
