The Information Technology Department has a staff of 43 employees, and supports the largest county in the State of Idaho with approximately 1550 employees. The department is divided into functional areas of Administration, Support, Systems and Development for Client/Server/Web/GIS.
The I.T. Department is responsible for the technology based systems that provide a supporting role in delivering the county based services to its taxpayers. I.T. provides computing and communications infrastructure, services, support and innovation to the departments and elected officials charged with providing the services to their tax paying customers. The I.T. Department is also in charge of state of the art network based VoIP Telephone System providing phone service to all county departments within Ada County.
