Ada County Juvenile Court Services
Fees and Restitution
The mission of the Ada County Juvenile Court Services Budget and Finance Division is to provide effective and efficient processes that support the diverse functions of the agency.
The Ada County Juvenile Court Budget and Finance Office is responsible for the billing and collection of juvenile court costs and restitution. This office is committed to helping juveniles and their parents meet their court-ordered financial obligations in as timely a manner as possible.
Juvenile court costs are associated with specific programs that juveniles are required to complete as part of their terms of probation. Most juvenile court costs are assessed at sentencing hearings and will be added to the juvenile’s financial account.
Restitution will be ordered at the sentencing hearing, restitution review, restitution hearing, or mediation. Court costs and restitution are required to be paid in full within 30 days from the date the Judge signs the order. If this is not possible, the juvenile and his/her parents may complete the court financial packet, and the Budget and Finance Office will set a monthly payment. Normally the minimum monthly payment is $50.00.

We accept payments in several ways:
1. In person, at the Denton site, either by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card (using Visa or MasterCard).
2. In person, at the Benjamin site, using cash, check, or money order only.
3. By phone, using Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card, by calling (208) 577-4800.
4. By mail, using your payment notice slip enclosed with check, money order, or credit/debit card information, and mailed to:
