Most Frequently Asked Questions regarding Neighbors for Life membership plan:

What is the Process?

  • The patient calls 9-1-1 in the event of a medical emergency where the patient will be provided with the highest level of service.
  • The patient will be evaluated and transported if medically necessary to the nearest hospital.
  • Ada County Paramedics will bill the patients insurance, on their behalf.
  • The patient will receive an informational invoice showing the activity on their account, including insurance company payments. It will also show what the patient is responsible for. If the patient receives a check from the insurance company the patient is responsible for transferring it to Ada County Paramedics for billed ambulance services.
