FAQ:  I am an EMT-Basic, Advanced, NREMT-intermediate. Why do I have to attend the whole 50 hours?

Answer: This is a combined refresher, it meets NREMT and State of Idaho the requirements for ALL levels of EMT providers.  To meet the demands of two different certifying agencies and the multiple levels of licensure and to coordinate varied schedules of our guest lecturer or/and subject matter experts the content in the various areas occurs across the week.  Therefore to ensure that you obtain the content you need for your recertification you must attend the entire course.

Benefit to EMT-Basic, Advanced, and NREMT-Intermediate is the balance of hours will be additional CEU'sLEVEL HOURREFRESHER HOURS that may be applied to your recertification.

LEVEL REFRESHER HOURS CEU's HOURS
Paramedic 48 0
NREMT-Intermediate/99 36 12
NREMT-Intermediate/85 36 12
ID Advanced EMT 36 12
NREMT Basic 24 24

FAQ:  I don't need a refresher course, but I do need additional hours. Can I attend on a per diem basis?

Answer:  Yes, you may attend on a per diem basis for a daily fee of $155.00 or $45.00 per hour.  Please note that due to the nature of physician and subject matter expert lectures, topics and times are subject to change with out notice.
