Specialty Teams at Ada County Paramedics

Many of our paramedics and EMTs gain highly specialized skills by serving on three operational teams, HazMat Medical Response Team (HazMed), Joint Special Operations Team (SOT), and Tactical Medical Team (TacMed). Members of these teams supplement their pre-hospital patient care knowledge and skills with hazardous materials, rope rescue, and tactical rescue expertise.
