Ada County will be once again offer early voting on Saturday. Considering that many voters are busy during regular business hours, Ada County Elections is making an effort to routinely offer voters an opportunity to come in and vote early on the weekend.

The Board of Ada County Commissioners is pleased to announce that Darby Weston has been selected to permanently fill the position of Ada County Paramedics’ Director.

The Ada County Assessor’s Office would like to clarify the requirements for the new personal property tax exemption for business owners in Ada County prior to May 1st, when certain personal property tax information must be submitted.  Under the new property tax exemption law, the first $100,000 of a business’s market value is exempt from personal property tax. 

The 2013 season of live horse racing at Les Bois Park begins this Wednesday, May 1st, and will feature 31 days of live racing on Wednesdays and Saturdays through August 10th.

The Ada County Assessor’s Office would like to remind property owners that the deadline to submit applications for enrollment in the 2013 State of Idaho Property Tax Reduction and Property Tax Deferral programs is this Monday, April 15th.
