Ada County Risk Management

Risk Management strives to protect Ada County's assets against loss and loss exposure, manages claims, maintains records, advises the Board of County Commissioners, and manages the County's self-insurance reserve fund.  This department identifies risk and risk exposure, trains elected officials, department heads, supervisors and line employees on a variety of issues including workplace safety, environmental and health issues, state and federal regulations, social issues, and court decisions affecting the County.  Risk Management attempts to recover losses to the County caused by others.
