For the year 2008, the Homeowners Exemption can reduce taxable value up to a maximum of $100,938 for the home and up to one acre of land!
In an effort to provide better service, Ada County has developed a method of remote access to our database called VPN (Virtual Private Network). The VPN service allows you to connect to the Assessor's Public Property Tax System using your internet connection.

APPRAISAL DIVISION - Our mission is to provide Ada County Taxpayers with efficient, accurate and equitable property appraisals. The Appraisal Division has two main webpages: REAL PROPERTY (Residential / Commercial) and PERSONAL PROPERTY.
LAND RECORDS DIVISION maintains the county's official plat maps and processes property deeds. It also maintains our Online Property Information System, which features our GIS data. This is the place to see parcel maps, parcel characteristics and parcel value information.
