Join a User Group

The Ada County Assessor's Office is dedicated to obtaining your input and suggestions on how we can better serve you!

One of the ways we obtain this input is by holding special "user group" meetings, which are designed to provide face-to-face interaction between the Assessor (and key staff) and members of certain professions. These meetings are held at least once a year and run about two hours in length.

The "Appraisal User Group" is composed primarily of residential and commercial property appraisers and owners, realtors, manufactured home dealers and park owners. Meetings provide tremendous information on how the Assessor's Office can better serve the appraisal profession here in Ada County.

The "Personal Property User Group" is composed primarily of businesses which must submit personal property declarations, providing tremendous information on how the Assessor's Office can better serve them

Land Records User Groups are primarily composed of mapping and GIS professionals, escrow and title company officers and staff. These meetings provide us with tremendous information on how the Assessor's Office can better serve the Land Records profession in Ada County.

Motor Vehicles User Groups are primarily composed of those involved with titling and registering any kind of motor vehicle. These meetings help us learn how the Assessor's Office can better serve the Motor Vehicles licensing/registration profession here in Ada County.
