Filing for Divorce
General Instructions
The divorce process consists of two parts:
1. FILING & SERVING and 2. FINALIZING.

As of July 1, 2004, pursuant to a rule change to I.R.C.P. 3(a), plaintiffs in family law cases are required to fill out a family law case information sheet and file it along with the complaint or petition.
