Eligibility of Wards:

The Board of Community Guardian is unable to provide services to the following people as the Board is exclusively the last resort:

• Those who are developmentally disabled
• Those with adequate resources
• Those with friends, family or concerned acquaintances who are willing to be guardians
• Those with a diagnosed mental illness
• Those who are currently abusing drugs or alcohol
• Those who have been convicted of any crime of a sexual nature
• Those who are currently in a nursing facility or institution
