Flow Charts of Permit Processes
In November 2000, the Boise Metro Economic Development Council (BMEDC) responded to concerns raised by the development/construction industry by bringing industry representatives together with the agencies and communities that regulate them. A major request at that time was for flow charts of the development processes.
Throughout 2001, planning and zoning officials from Ada County, Canyon County, Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Garden City, Meridian, and Nampa met to discuss how they could work together to help make the processes clearer. Some of the communities have provided flow charts and we are very excited to release them on this site for your review.
The communities are continuing to work with the BMEDC to keep the lines of communication open and accessible and to provide seamless processes where possible.
