Tactical Medical Team

TacMed provides medical care and consultation to high-risk law enforcement specialty teams. Paramedics train and work along side law enforcement officers who are serving high-risk warrants, dealing with barricaded subjects, performing hostage rescues, and disposing of explosive ordinances. Also, our paramedics monitor the health of the team during missions and training exercises.

TacMed's mission is dedicated to one fundamental goal—officer survival. Dangerous conditions and unconventional hazards are commonplace for law enforcement tactical teams. All teams operate in conditions that, regardless of their training and expertise, put them at high risk for injury. The medical support provided by Ada County Paramedics is essential to mission success.
