BOAT RAMP ETIQUETTE:
Launching & Loading
- Know which side of the ramp is designated for loading and launching.
- Do not block loading area until tow vehicle is ready to load. Load and unload equipment clear of the ramp. When launching don't release your bow winch line. Do unplug trailer lights. Is your drain plug in?
- Wait your turn. Be courteous. When ready, pull into line to launch.
- It takes two people to effectively and courteously launch/load a boat: one to handle the boat, one to take care of the tow vehicle.
- Get clear of ramp as soon as possible. Pull into parking area to secure boat and unload gear. When launching, back into water, release boat from trailer and get both the boat and tow vehicle clear.
- Enjoy your day on the water!
