The Mission of the Public Information Department is to:

• Facilitate clear, accurate communication between elected Ada County government offices, departments, and the citizens they serve

• Develop, implement, and evaluate special public outreach and news media education programs

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local television, radio, and print media outlets, and facilitate their daily informational needs and requests
