Ada County Pest Control

Pocket Gopher emerging from mound. Clutch and Box traps used for gophers Yellow bellied marmot (rock-chuck).

At Ada County Weed and Pest Control, we have several crews that control Pocket Gophers, and Yellow-bellied Marmots, (rock-chucks) outside of the city limits. This service is provided, without further charge, to people who pay into the pest control levy in their respective tax districts. Schools and irrigation companies can hire us, for a fee, to have their pests controlled. Individuals within city limits may not hire us at this time because they do not pay into this tax district. There are several private pest control companies that provide this service for a fee. Check your local phone book under pest control. Our pest control crews do not work during the winter months, but will start as early in the spring, as weather permits.

If you need advice on trapping gophers, please call our office at 577-4646, or stop by our office at 975 E. Pine, Meridian, ID 83642. Our staff is happy to offer advice and suggestions that should be helpful if you would like to trap these pests yourself.
