Spraying Service

Roadside Spraying.

Ada County has had a contract to perform the vegetation management along Ada County Highway Ada County Roadside Spraying District rights-of-way. This contract is up for renewal every fiscal year.

We cannot perform specialized weed control work in front of subdivisions or residences unless specifically told to do so by the contracting authority (ACHD) as they are the ones responsible for paying for this work, nor do we cut tall weeds down along roadsides unless asked to do so by ACHD.

Field, Rangeland and Non-crop weed control.

Ada County weed control offers county residents field and farm weed control upon request. There is an hourly fee for this service. We have spray trucks and ATV's equiped for rangland weed control. We are experienced with non-crop weed control, and will spray residual herbicides on farm yards, fence rows, commercial lots, ditches and dams. We cannot provide lawn care, or insect control, as there are private companies that sell this service.
